Refugees had no support whatsoever from West Bengal.Refugees were NEVER supported by West Bengal since partition of India.

Media reports from Raipur that CM has met two of the four demands of resettled Bengali Refugees in Chhattish Gargh.
Hunger strike is withdrawn for the time being.

Media reports, Bangla has to be taught in Chhattish Gargh Schools from next Session!Bhasha Andolan creates another history!Earlier refugees led and united by Nikhil Bharat made Bangla second language in Karnataka.

Refugees had no support whatsoever from West Bengal.Refugees were NEVER supported by West Bengal since partition of India.

It proves again that we ourselves may solve our problems if we stand united with our differences.Refugees in Chhattishgargh proved it as Refugees in Uttarakhand proved it earlier in 2003 while BJP government headed by Nityanand Swami then declared all Bengali refugees illegal migrants and denied citizenship even before the Black Citizenship Bill presented in the Parliament in 2003.

United Refugee movement was supported by everyone in Hills and plains in Uttarakhand then  except the BJP supporters and the movement became mass movement and the UK BJP government had to eat its GO.

It was a lesson we should have learnt that no politics would save us unless we stand united Rock solid and join hands with the people of India as they have always supported refugees in their plight all over India excluding Bengal!

NIKHIL BHARAT UDVASTU SAMANYAY SAMITI General Secretary AMBIKA Ray wrote on his FB Wall:
Nikhil Bharat Bengali udbastu samanway samiti Chattisgarh state committee in presence of National president Dr.Subodh Biswas and huge numbers of crowed about one Lakh yesterday temporarily stalled the hunger strike after assurance from the Chief Minister to have meeting this evening. Nikhil Bharat could manage to gather support from all sections of Matuas, disciples of Anukul thakur, Krishna panthi and above all local tribals as well is very significant.
