On Punjabi playwright CD Sidhu anniversary his son Ravi Taneja-director collegiate society drama group staged Jagdish Chander Mathur classic Hindi play of 1951-Konark on 18th November at Sriram Centre New Delhi. The play has not been staged for decades now.. Staying in JNU Gomti guest house nearby watched the impressive play with Jagdish Chander Mathur son a JNU alumnus of 1973 in audience. Ravi Taneja who played lead role of artist invited me on Dias after play was over with Mathur son. I complemented him for successfully staging this difficult play for stage!
