Meanwhile,mild tremors were felt in parts of Bihar and Jharkhand on Tuesday morning. The affected areas include Gaya, Jamui, Banka and Bhagalpur in Bihar and Deoghar and Dhanbad in Jharkhand among others. There have been no reports of any damage so far.
Mr Kejriwal and other members of the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) were stopped from entering their offices by a CBI team at the Delhi Secretariat.
Raids are still on at the Chief Minister's office on the third floor, say sources. AAP claims that the CBI refused to give any reason.
Mr Kejriwal is believed to be in a huddle with his deputy Manish Sisodia and other senior AAP leaders.
Since AAP took power in February after winning a massive mandate in Delhi, it has been locked in a running feud with the Centre over the control of important functions like law and order, police and land.
Days ago, when Mr Kejriwal was asked about vendetta politics, in connection with the National Herald case against Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, he had told NDTV: "There is definitely a vendetta against AAP. Five of our MLAs have been arrested on flimsy grounds."

The Delhi Chief Minister claimed the CBI sleuths were looking for files pertaining to the DDCA scam.
Giving a new twist to the CBI raid in his office on Tuesday morning, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal claimed that the officials came looking for the file pertaining to the Delhi and District Cricket Academy (DDCA) scam and save Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.
The DDCA was headed by Mr. Jaitley for 14 years and subsequently he was patron-in-chief of the association until December 2014. Delhi government had recently ordered an inquiry against the cricketing body.
Mr Kejriwal, rattled after the raid in his office, said that Rajender Kumar was just an excuse and he was the target. "Rajender toh bahana hai, Kejriwal nishana hai” he coined a new slogan.
Justifying his allegations of ‘political vendetta’ behind the raid, he asked if his officer, Rajender Kumar, favoured a company through contracts when he was the education director, VAT commissioner and IT head, between 2007-14, “how come CBI officials didn’t raid these departments.”
He claimed that the CMO doesn’t keep files dating back more than a month. “How can CM’s office keep a file that dates back to 2007.” Puncturing holes in the investigation of the CBI, he accused them of favouring former Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit’s ministers, as it was during her tenure these contracts were awarded.
In his usual rhetoric, the Delhi Chief Minister said that the Prime Minister is scared that his minister (Jaitley) will be exposed as AAP-government had clinching evidence against the cricket association.
“There was DDCA scam file in the CM’s office and the sleuths came to sniff it out.” During the day, Delhi CM received sharp criticism for usage of words like ‘psychopath’ and ‘coward’ for the PM, he said that he will apologise if Mr Modi apologizes for his ‘wrong deeds’.
Delhi government initiated a probe in DDCA after cricketer-turned politician Kirti Azad lodged a complaint. It has been alleged that some DDCA office-bearers got a structure built at the stadium and leased out the portion without following procedures. They have also been accused of siphoning off funds running into crores.

The CBI has recovered foreign currency worth over Rs 3 lakh from the residence of a senior Delhi bureaucrat, Rajender Kumar in a raid this morning, sources in the agency said. This is in addition to cash worth Rs 2.4 lakh that the agency found during the search.
Mr Kumar, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal who set off a political firestorm by alleging that the CBI raided his office, is accused of corruption in the purchase of computers and favouring a company in the tender process.
Sources in the CBI said that documents related to three immovable properties were also recovered from Mr Kumar's home. The bureaucrat, sources say, was not cooperating with the probe agency in accessing his email accounts.

The raid was part of searches conducted by the CBI today at 14 locations across Delhi and Uttar Pradesh.
The CBI also recovered Rs 10.5 lakh from GK Nanda, a co-accused along with Mr Kumar in the corruption case, sources said. Mr Nanda is the General Manager of Telecommunications Consultants India Ltd (TCIL).
In a series of tweets earlier today, Mr Kejriwal said that his office was raided by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and launched a fierce attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calling him a 'coward and psychopath'. The CBI claims it was searching Rajender Kumar's office at the Delhi Secretariat and not that of the Chief Minister. But Mr Kejriwal alleged that the CBI raid was an excuse to search his office.
