JNU students, teachers demand justice for Vemula, Kejriwal joins march
Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal will on Tuesday join the march being held at the Jantar Mantar in solidarity of Hyderabad University scholar Rohith Vemula, who committed suicide last month.
“Will go to jantar mantar sometime in the afternoon today to express solidarity with Rohith’s family n to speak to students,” Kejriwal tweeted.

The students and teachers of Jawaharlal Nehru University have decided to observe a one-day strike and participate in a march demanding justice for dalit research scholar Rohith Vemula, who was found hanging in Hyderabad University.
Students from Hyderabad varsity will will also take part in the march from Ambedkar Bhawan to Jantar Mantar.
Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi is also expected to join the march.
Meanwhile, the Jawaharlal Nehru Students’ Union has called for a strike and appealed to all the students to join the march being taken out from Ambedkar Bhawan to Jantar Mantak seeking justice for Vemula.
