Iceland PM puts in papers
Iceland Prime Minister Sigmundur Davíð Gunnlaugsson on Tuesday resigned after facing massive protests following revelations about his offshore firm in the Panama Papers. This came after President Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson declined to immediately dissolve Parliament and pave the way for snap elections. "The prime minister told (his party's) parliamentary group meeting that he would step down as prime minister and I will take over," the Progressive party's deputy leader and Agriculture Minister Sigurdur Ingi Johannsson told a live broadcast. As Iceland collapsed, its PM parked money in offshore firmThe List, Part 1: Clients who knocked on a Panama doorHSBC, UBS, Credit Suisse helped wealthy hide assets
