प्रोफेसर बीपी गुरू की गिरफ्तारी का विरोध
Some days back, Kancha Illiah was threatened by communal goons. A case was also registered against him for allegedly insulting god. After Vivek Kumar, a Chhattisgarh-based journalist and editor of a fortnightly allegedly insulted Hindu goddess Durga in his Facebook post, anti-social elements forced a bandh in the Manpur town where he lives for several days and indulged in violence. Under the pressure of these elements, Vivek Kumar was arrested under various sections of the IPC. After spending 70 days in jail, he was released on bail only two days back. You are well aware of similar incidents in the past.
