Indian Express reports:
At least 80 people were killed and 100 others injured when a truck drove into a crowd in the French Riviera city of Nice during Bastille Day celebrations. The truck drove on to the sidewalk and plowed through a crowd of Bastille Day revelers who’d gathered to watch fireworks late Thursday in what some officials and eyewitnesses described as a deliberate attack. Police shot and killed the driver, who drove at high speed for over 100 metres along the famed Promenade des Anglais seafront before hitting the mass of spectators.
